- Sarah Michelle Gellar got busy showing off her super strong legs in a pantsless, see-through outfit in photos from a recent event.
- When it comes to her fitness, the Buffy actress loves doing Pilates and Amanda Kloots’ workouts.
- Sarah Michelle also says that working out helps her mental health.
Sarah Michelle Gellar helped honor her buddy Brendan Fraser at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this week, and she showed up in a gorgeous see-through dress that even she can’t stop raving about.
The 45-year-old actress shared a slew of photos of the dress on Instagram, including shots from all angles in her IG Stories, and fair—it’s stunning. The dress is flouncy and pantsless, and Sarah paired it with black briefs that showed off her seriously toned legs. There are shots of Sarah from the front, sides, up close, from far back…no matter how you view it, Sarah is strong and glowy.
“I wore a very pretty dress last night 💫,” she captioned one post, as people cheered her on in the comments. “Omg yes you did,” said Amanda Kloots. “Another day, another SERVE 🔥,” someone else wrote.
And here are more shots of Sarah, alongside Brendan, totally owning the red carpet:
While she definitely logs some serious time at the gym, Sarah recently told Shape that she looks at exercise as a way to boost her mental health. “It’s become more emotional,” she said. “[Exercise] used to be, sort of, ‘I have to do this, this is my job, this is work.’ But I think there’s an emotional component, too, which is, it’s what clears my mind.”
Sarah also said she’s learned to “let everything else go” when she works out for an hour or so. “I just focus on whatever the movement is and making sure it’s correct,” she said, noting that it makes workouts feel like “less of a chore.”

Sarah likes to do Pilates (she’s into the Megaformer, which is a spring-loaded resistance machine that’s like the Reformer). “It’s some of the hardest strength and core work I’ve done,” she told Shape. Oh, and Sarah also does Amanda Kloots’ subscription dance workouts.
Sarah told The Express back in 2020 that she’s used CoolSculpt, a procedure that freezes and eliminates fat on your body. “I don’t weigh myself, I don’t measure myself, but I could tell within a week how my clothing was feeling and fitting, how my jeans were buttoning back up,” she said.
Sarah hasn’t shared a ton about her eating habits, but she did tell Shape that she likes to eat healthy. “Nutrition is actually the basis for all of [staying healthy] because it affects how we use our energy, how we sleep, all of those things,” she said. Sarah also shared that her family grows their own vegetables at home.
That dress, though… .
