Carol Burnett is about to turn 90, and the comedian plans to celebrate with a two-hour special on NBC called

Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love. And she just went on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about it, and she showed up looking seriously fit and happy.

Carol was spotted heading into the studio in a black sheath dress under a black and white blazer, with her strong legs on full display. “I’m just thrilled to be here and I’m happy that, at this age, I’ve got all my parts,” she joked on the show. “I’ve got my hips and my knees and I think my brain.”

Carol has been open about working hard to stay fit—and she’s been exercising for a long time. She said on the last episode of The Carol Burnett Show (back in 1978) that she works out for 30 minutes a day and even did sit-ups with a person in the audience.

As for turning 90, Carol said she doesn’t feel her age. “I can’t wrap my head around it,” she told People. “I still feel like I’m about 11, but I’m amazed. It sure went fast.” Carol also talked to AARP about getting older and losing loved ones. “You learn to cope and also to live in the now,” she said. “And you have to laugh.”

On the food front, Carol told THR that she loves enchiladas. “I was born in Texas and that’s the first food I ever remember eating, when I was three or so,” she said. “But I’m pretty good with food. I’ll have a bite of dessert and then I’m fine, I don’t need to eat the whole thing.”

Carol’s special airs on April 26 on NBC.
