- When it comes to her fitness routines, Dua often prefers early morning workouts.
Birthday wishes are in order for pop queen, Dua Lipa! The “Levitating” singer just celebrated her 28th birthday on August 22, and she took to Instagram to share some super stylish pics from the festivities, as well as to show some gratitude for her fans.
In the pics she posted, Dua got busy showing off her super-toned abs in a tiny mesh Gucci bralette paired with lavender cargo pants. She accessorized the cool look with oversized sunnies and stacked chocker necklaces. Did someone say style queen? Dua certainly deserves some sort of crown for this birthday look.
“raving into my 28th year 👾 ~thank you for the birthday wishes~,” she captioned the photos. Obviously, Dua got lots of bday love from her followers and fans, too (who, by the way, were totally loving her ‘fit). “ON FIRE!!!💜👾,” one fan wrote. Another commented, “😍😍🔥🔥.”
If you want to know *how* Dua works on those abs of steel, you’ve come to the right place. For starters, you should know that one of Dua’s go-to core strengthening workouts is yoga. She’s so dedicated to her practice that she brought instructor Anabella Landa with her on her Future Nostalgia Tour, per Elle. Using her wellness platform Service95, Dua has even shared one of her fave 30-minute guided yoga flow classes. You can try it out yourself!

Plus, this rockstar’s IG is full of other examples of the impressive yoga poses she has nailed. Last summer, Dua shared a video of herself knocking out a solid headstand. (And if you needed more proof it’s one of her fave poses, she crushed another one in March 2022.) These moves take some serious core strength and balance.
It’s not just yoga that gets her strong and toned, though. Dua told Marie Claire UK that her fitness routine is dependent on keeping things fresh. “I love mixing up lots of different training, finding different workouts in whatever city I’m in, whether it’s yoga, Pilates, boxing, or spinning.”
Dua also likes to utilize a couple different personal trainers to help her feel her best. One of them, Sora Connor, previously told Women’s Health that when the two work together, they “always work the entire body.” She added: “Sometimes it’s more core-focused, other times it’s glutes. The main objective is to work the muscles so that they become strong and toned but the focus is on creating a long, lean line.”
As for Dua’s diet, that’s dependent on her travel schedule. But she loves to cook for herself when she can. “I love cooking and being surrounded by my favorite people, though I also love ordering from the fantastic restaurants in my area,” she told Refinery29. “With all the running around I do for work, it’s nice to come home, slow down, and connect with the food that nourishes my body and life.”

Oh, and this birthday queen she has a total sweet tooth. Last month, she enjoyed a delicious salted pistachio gelato that “lasted a good 30 secs.”
So yummy, Dua!
