- Madonna just dropped a slew of photos on her Instagram story showing off her signature fishnets look with combat boots.
- It was hard to miss how totally strong the singer’s legs were in the pics.
- Madonna loves doing Pilates and yoga, and works out six days a week with her trainer.
Madonna has had a lot going on recently. For one, the rumors have been swirling that she has a new boyfriend, boxing coach and trainer Josh Popper. And she’s also been gearing up for her worldwide Celebration Tour, which takes some serious prep work. Well, Madonna just dropped some photos in her Instagram Stories of herself hanging out in what appears to be a music studio, and they make it clear the Queen of Pop is still having fun.
The 64-year-old star shared a slew of shots of herself working hot pink short-shorts that were layered over fishnets. Of course, the cool ‘fit totally highlighted her super strong legs. There’s Madonna hanging on the ground, laying face to face with a mirror, and goofing off with a friend on the floor. She paired her look with a bustier that appears to be the same one she wore while hanging with Sam Smith recently.
If you didn’t catch her story before it expired, don’t worry, here’s the evidence:
And this one:
Of course, Madonna has made it clear that she’s really big into working out. She previously told Extra that she likes to go hard in her workouts. “It’s all in your head…It’s called will, it’s called no one’s gonna stop me,” she said. “How I stay in shape is I don’t believe in limitations.”
“I used to be, like, a fitness/workout maniac,” she added, noting that hip replacement surgery (only temporarily) slowed her down.
So what, exactly, is she doing when she’s in beast mode? She’s all about Pilates and has shared little snippets on Instagram of herself doing various moves. In one Instagram post from 2021, Madonna can be seen using a Reformer machine to work her butt, thighs, and arms, before throwing in some twerks and hip hop moves on a dance floor.
Madonna works out with choreographer and aerialist Marlyn Ortiz, doing things like foam rolling, indoor cycling, and resistance band exercises. “I feel the f*cking pain,” she relatably stated during one foam-rolling move.
Madonna also works out up to six days a week with trainer Craig Smith, who told People that he “utilizes dance to tone the entire body, plus a mix of asana yoga, Bar Method and a lot of hybrid Pilates programs to give that nice, sleek look to her arms.” He also tries to switch things up to keep Madonna toned. “Her body doesn’t plateau. It’s always in a guesswork state,” Smith said. “Her body is always changing in a positive way.”
On the food front, Madonna reportedly follows a macrobiotic diet of beans, nuts, veggies like kale, broccoli, pumpkin, and carrots, and fish.
