Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Abs Were Next-Level Toned In A Fiery Two-Piece ‘Fit

  • Priyanka Chopra Jonas is looking incredibly fit and strong these days!

  • She is doing press for her new spy series Citadel, which drops tomorrow. And the 40-year-old actress hit up the Today show in a striking two-piece ‘fit—and it’s everything.
  • To Priyanka, staying fit means living a more active life her day-to-day. Sometimes that’s walking instead of driving; and other times it’s taking the stairs instead of the elevator. She also skips rope, swims, and hikes.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ new spy series Citadel drops tomorrow and, naturally, she’s out there talking it up. Well, Priyanka just hit up the Today show in a two-piece outfit to promote her show, and it’s kind of everything.

The 40-year-old star shared footage of the ‘fit in her Instagram Story as she hung out on set. It features a strapless scoop-neck crop top and form-fitting skirt with a flouncy bottom that highlights her seriously toned abs. Priyanka tossed a long black coat over top outside the studio for a look that’s seriously on point.

This isn’t Priyanka’s only abs-baring look lately. She also totally crushed this old Hollywood-style one last month:

Despite looking so strong, Priyanka has been clear in the past that she’s not the biggest fan of hitting the gym. “Honestly, I work out only when I need to,” she previously told Vogue India. “My body responds very quickly to exercise, so I don’t need too long to tone up and get into shape.”

But Women’s Health UK reports that Priyanka likes to do a combination of cardio and resistance training. “I also love swimming—it’s a full-body workout and I’ll try to do 10 laps continuously,” she said.

Hiking—which is a great way to get your HR up and get in your steps—is in the mix, too:

So is skiing, which she just posted about in February. (Skiing, in case you don’t know, is a great cardio workout that also tones your butt and thighs):

Priyanka also exercises to be healthy—not to look a certain way. “The idea is to keep fit and healthy and not shrink myself by two or three sizes,” she said. “I find that trend amongst celebrities disturbing, since a lot of kids and teenagers strive to attain our kind of figures, but without proper guidance.”

Priyanka told Vogue India that she tries to be active in her day-to-day, doing things like taking the stairs vs. the elevator or walking over driving.

On the food front, Priyanka has made it clear that she doesn’t want to deprive herself. “I love food,” she told Pinkvilla.“I can’t help it. Like, I live for food… I have breakfast talking about lunch, I have lunch talking about dinner.”

Her favorites include of her favorites is stuffed parathas, which is an Indian flatbread stuffed with a spicy potato mixture, along with ghar ka khana—a vegetarian stew. But Priyanka is open about her culinary limitations: “I can’t cook, so I can’t make anything for myself.”

Can’t wait to see Citadel!
