Salma Hayek posed in a red bikini at the beach to celebrate her 57th birthday.
- The Magic Mike’s Last Dance star celebrated her birthday on Saturday, September 2nd.
- Salma said that she is “grateful for all the blessings.”
When it comes to sharing swimsuit snaps, Salma Hayek has no plans to stop anytime soon. In fact, she’s said “I have no shame on it,” in the past.
So it comes as little surprise that the star just celebrated her 57th birthday by posing for a series of photos in a red string bikini at the beach.
The now 57-year-old posed in crystal clear waters while wearing a bright red bikini, chrome sunglasses, and a sun hat. The star posted a total of six photos in the sun and sand, showing off her toned abs and legs.
“I’m so happy to be alive and so profoundly grateful for all the blessings!!!! 🎂 My beloved family, my precious friends, my health, my work that keeps me going, my empowering team, my relationship with animals & nature, and the love of all my loyal fans,” Hayek wrote in the caption. “Happy 57th birthday to me!!! 🎉”
Hayek’s fans were so happy for the star, quickly joining in to send birthday wishes in the comments section. “Wishing you the Happiest Birthday ever!!” one fan wrote. “57 never looked this good!! Happy Birthday! 🎂🎊,” another added. “Cheers to many more,” someone else chimed in.
This wasn’t Hayek’s only birthday post. The day prior, Hayek posted another photo, this time at a restaurant about to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. “Thanks for all the birthday love💕,” she wrote in the caption.
It also seems like the star’s birthday has her thinking about life, change, and getting older. Earlier this week, Hayek posted a video dancing barefoot in a bikini, taking the moment as an opportunity for self-reflection. “Life is a series of phases with beginnings and ends, that’s why sometimes it’s ok to feel like butterflies 🦋 even if we let a part of us go…” she captioned the video.
Hayek has opened up in the past about her perspective on getting older—specifically, that aging is beautiful. “I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work; I’m working,” Hayek previously told Glamour. “I thought getting older maybe meant that you’re not in love anymore; I’m in love,” she continued. “I don’t feel that I lost my flexibility or my agility or even my strength. I do have to say that I have found it beautiful, getting older with someone.”
We love her take on aging, and can’t wait to see what this next year brings the star. Happy birthday, Salma!
