- Mariah Carey just hit the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City to provide a little more Christmas cheer for her fans.
- In a photo from the event that she posted to her Instagram, the singer was wearing a chic, flared minidress that showed off her sculpted legs.
- Mariah doesn’t love going to the gym, and instead opts for water-based workouts like swimming and aerobics.
Mariah Carey is always very busy around the holidays, which makes sense seeing as she has one of the biggest hit holiday songs of the decade. And even though her music is on repeat in most households, people still want to come see the Queen of Christmas IRL. Thankfully, Mariah delivered, and gave an angelic performance recently that left everyone feeling a little warmer inside.
Mariah took the stage at Madison Square Garden in NYC wearing a white glittery minidress that showed off her long, strong legs. Mariah truly fit right in with the Rockettes, who were performing beside her.
Mariah posted the picture, which was taken by Rich Fury of MSG Entertainment, to her Instagram with the caption, “A dream come true! Thank you @therockettes for sharing the stage with me on my show @thegarden! Tune in to #MerryChristmasToAll on @cbstv 12/20 @ 8pm! 👯🦋🎄.”
When it comes to working out, Mariah isn’t a big fan of the gym. This is the same woman who walked on a treadmill in heels in 1993. However, she does love doing water-based workouts, like aerobics and swimming laps.

“Mariah’s never been a huge fan of going to the gym, but she always forces herself to go for a brisk walk every day, even if it’s on the treadmill, and she also tries to fit in a daily session of swimming and water aerobics,” a source told Hollywood Life back in 2018.
Apparently, Mariah also loves eating lean proteins like smoked salmon and capers, and tends to stay away from processed sugar as much as possible. “She is working out regularly and eating clean, whole foods with a focus on vegetables,” the source added.
Another Mariah tip: She does not weigh herself. Instead, she bases her health and wellness goals on how her clothes fit and how she feels.
“I don’t feel like you have to be a size zero,” she told People. “We should all just embrace who we are physically. I’m not supposed to be a stick figure girl. It’s just not me.”
Heck, yes, Mimi!
