The actress took to Instagram to celebrate her big day with an epic black lace lingerie selfie, and she is as all-over strong as ever. But literally no one is surprised.
Halle’s caption reads, “feeling so much gratitude and love on this birthday! WOW!” And I can see why. Her comments section is flooded with bday wishes and her IG Story is filled with posts from friends who are reveling in Halle’s special day.
“Blessings on your birthday, Queen 👑,” one fan wrote. “Happy birthday to THE GODDESS, my friend @halleberry 🍷🥰 you deserve to win at all costs!” another commented. And one friend even called Halle a “true light” on their Instagram story.

After receiving a diabetes diagnosis at 22, she changed the way she viewed her workouts. “I began to see fitness as a way to care for my health and my body,” she wrote in a 2020 essay for Women’s Health.
As a result, Halle began to focus on feeling stronger and healthier rather than working mainly with her appearance in mind. Her workouts became acts of self-care.

She works with trainer Peter Lee Thomas to create an entertaining yet challenging fitness routine. “I don’t think Peter and I have ever done the exact same workout twice—and I always end up sore in places I didn’t even realize I had muscles,” she wrote.
Halle enjoys yoga and stretching while also implementing circuits with weights and resistance bands. She also does sprints (very quickly, in case you were curious about her mile time), and practices martial arts. Halle does it all!
She went on to explain about how this approach to exercise has positively affected her mind and body. “My mind is never bored, my body continues to reap the benefits, and I walk through the world with more confidence than ever before.”
Unsurprisingly, this attitude change also allowed her to enjoy exercising more than ever.
But that doesn’t mean that her workouts are easy. “There’s no better feeling than setting a goal and smashing it,” she wrote on Instagram. When prepping for her movie Bruised, Halle wanted ripped abs, so she put in the hard work and consistent effort to strengthen her core muscles.
Halle has also encouraged her fans to set their own fitness goals to strive for. “Set the BAR higher than you think, share your goal in the comments and HOLD yourself to it,” she said. “The work won’t be easy, but that pay off? Worth every damn second.”
