Jessica Simpson is definitely, undoubtedly, absolutely ready for summer. The “With You” singer, 42, showed off her super-strong abs, legs, and arms while modeling a neon green SKIMS bikini that she paired with some cute pink platform heels from her very own Jessica Simpson Collection.

“SKIMS Swim + @Jessicasimpsonstyle Shoes = Neon Energy,” she captioned the fun mirror selfie. And her famous pals and fans were totally there for it. Jessie James Decker commented, “🔥🔥🔥”, and Margo Price wrote, “Omg so cute! Love the neon.” A third commented: “This gives me These Boots Are Made 4 Walkin vibes.”

Last year, Jess shared another bikini selfie on her Instagram, detailing her journey to lose 100 pounds three times. “I have gained and lost 100lbs 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I’m finally spring breakin’ wearin’ a BIKINI!!!!!! Hard work Determination Self Love I enjoyed a good proud cry today 💪🏼☀️💛,” she captioned the photo.

Since then, she’s been feeling super confident and is letting the people know with her bikini selfies. Jessica told PEOPLE that “the older I get, I lean into the free-spirited version of myself: connecting my personality with my eccentricities! I never let people’s judgments get the best of me. My confidence is showing up as I am.”

During an interview with Today, Jessica shared that she isn’t a scale person. “I have no idea how much I weigh. Like, I just want to feel good and be able to zip my pants up. If I don’t, I have another size. I have every size,” she said. “I’ve really tried my hardest to not let that define me.”

During her 100-pound weight loss journey, Jessica worked with her trainer Harley Pasternak and his co-trainer Sydney Liebs. Pasternak shared with PEOPLE that walking became a huge part of Jessica’s exercise routine, and she worked her way up to walking 12,000 steps per day. Jessica also followed Pasternak’s Body Reset Diet plan. He told PEOPLE that Jess ate three meals a day (plus two snacks!) that were filled with protein, fiber, and fat. Jessica is also sober and doesn’t drink alcohol.

Of course, Jessica makes sure to stay fueled for her busy lifestyle. Pasternak previously shared some of Jessica’s favorite food pics with PEOPLE.

“She’ll have foods that are very flavorable that are healthier versions of things like a tortilla soup or Tex-Mex,” he shared. “And if she has a birthday party one night and a date night another night, she’s going to indulge both of those nights, but that’s it. It’s about balancing in a way that doesn’t make it painful or too much of a departure from your life before that.”
