Michelle Pfeiffer just dropped a selfie on Instagram to celebrate a big milestone: hitting three million followers on the platform.
- In the snap, the actress was absolutely glowing in a nearly-unrecognizable, no-makeup selfie.
- Michelle has talked a ton about her clean beauty routines and vegan diet in the past.
Michelle Pfeiffer regularly gets glammed up for red carpet events (because, hello, she’s a movie icon). But she certainly isn’t afraid of a good makeup-free shot that shows off her natural, glowing beauty.
And the latest Instagram selfie from the 65-year-old superstar might be her glowiest look yet. Michelle casually dropped a post to celebrate hitting three million followers featuring a photo of her beautiful, smiling, totally makeup-free face. Her hair was perfectly tousled, and she just looked super happy. The whole thing was simply “au naturale” perfection.
“3M followers. Thank you all for hanging out with me here!! 🤍,” she wrote in the caption. People obviously freaked out over how casual, confident, and gorgeous Michelle was in the pic. Actress Christina Ricci wrote, “Icon Queen ❤️🔥,” while comedian Chelsea Handler commented, “Yeah, girl yeah.”
This is hardly Michelle’s only makeup-less shot lately. She dropped this one in July with her puppy:

If you’re ready for all the deets on Michelle’s skincare routine, Women’s Health has you covered. Over the years, Michelle has made it clear that she’s embraced getting older. “I certainly see that I’ve changed,” she told People. “I just try not to dwell on it. Aging happens to every single one of us. Once you accept that, it unburdens you.”
But, she’s also shared some of her best tips and tricks about her skincare routines with various media outlets. The results speak for themselves!
For starters, Michelle is really big on clean makeup. “Every day I was having to choose between safety and performance, whether it was the makeup I was using for work or the hair products you’re using,” she said on The Skinny Confidential podcast earlier this summer. “I just went down the rabbit hole.”
Michelle said she relies on Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep database to help her find products that work for her. “I’ve tried asking a few [makeup artists] to use clean or organic makeup, and they look at me like I have three heads,” she told Oprah Daily.“I have to have different standards. There are products that I know to be super safe, and if I’m not working and won’t be photographed, I’ll use those.”
One thing on the list? The Sodashi skincare line. “I saw that the ingredients were mostly natural, and they don’t make me break out,” Michelle explained. “I have such reactive skin that if I find something that performs and agrees with me, I stick with it. I haven’t changed what I use on my skin in over ten years. My routine is simple: I cleanse, I moisturize—that’s it.”
Another product she talked up? Well People Expressionist Volumizing Mascara, which you can easily snag on Amazon for just $20.

The actress knows that what you put inside your body is just as important as what you apply on the outside. And because of this, she follows a totally vegan diet. Michelle told Urbanette that she feels like her diet impacts how her skin looks. “I really noticed a difference in my skin not too long after switching to fully vegan,” she shared.
Congrats on hitting 3 million followers, Michelle!
