Christie Brinkley looks like a Christmas dream in her latest Instagram video. The model, 68, showed off the super cute outfit she was planning to wear for her appearance on the TODAY show, including a short red dress that showed off her super strong legs.
Christie also asked her followers which shoes she should go with—red elegant heels or sparkly silver boots—for her appearance. In the video, Christie is wearing the silver sparkle boots, and she was definitely feeling herself as she danced around in the video. (Spoiler alert: she went with the boots!)

If you’re wondering what her workout routines are these days, you should know that one way Christie works out her legs is by taking lots of walks and spending time outside in nature. In an Instagram post from November, she shared, “I have always found joy, comfort, inspiration, perspective, adventure, solace, and endless magic in nature. A walk on the beach, a hike on a wooded trail a paddle on a kayak is a necessary part of my life.”
Christie also enjoys taking spin classes when she wants to push herself. “I love spin instructors,” she previously told Women’s Health. “Yeah, sometimes you need a little drill sergeant to inspire you and keep you going.”
As for her diet, Christie eats mostly plant-based and considers herself a “lacto-ovo” eater. “Over the years, I’ve been a vegan, I’ve been a macrobiotic, I’ve been a lacto-ovo,” she said in a 2018 interview with The Cut. “The one constant…was that I haven’t eaten any red meat or fowl.”

Back in November, Christie shared an Instagram post where she shared more about her eating philosophies.
“I have always encouraged my readers, friends and family to think of food as fuel and I promoted eating a colorful organic vegetarian or vegan rainbow diet for maximum nutrition. And I discouraged dieting or as I call it ‘deny-eating’ and urged you instead to gift your body with healthy choices that will heal and benefit you,” she wrote.
Christie also said that she hasn’t eaten meat since she was 13.
“Even though healful mindful eating has always been a passion of mine, ever since I stopped eating meat when I was 13…I still have a lot to learn about the way our bodies work,” she added.
Of course, it’s not all healthy food all the time. Christie definitely has a sweet tooth. She shared in an Instagram post that she enjoyed her pecan pie over Thanksgiving, but was still sure to balance the sugar out later. “Getting back to healthy eating because I just feel better when I fuel up properly! Don’t you? 🍎🥦🍊🍇🌶️🥕,” she wrote.
