- For a workout, the singer enjoys running and doing yoga, but she also mixes things up to keep her routines fresh.
- Willow is also very into meditation and tries to set aside at least 10 minutes a day for her practice.
In case you weren’t aware, Willow Smith absolutely slayed onstage at Coachella this past weekend. The “Meet Me At Our Spot” singer, 22, rocked the stage for the second weekend in a row at (she performed during the first weekend as well) in a pair of cut-off jean shorts and a cropped tank top. Willow shared an Insta post from the event, which included a video of her performance on stage, and lots of behind-the-scenes snaps where she posed with members of Korean K-pop group BLACKPINK, as well as her brother, Jayden Smith.
“🖤<WKND 2>🖤 Infinite gratitude type vibe,” she captioned the post. The photos had Willow’s famous friends freaking out over her epic performance and iconic look. “U. Deserve. Everything,” Camila Cabello commented, while streaming platform Tidal’s account wrote, “the vibes were vibing ❤️🔥 you killed that!”
Willow brought so much style to the music festival, and also modeled another crop top look highlighting her killer core (this time paired with cargo pants) by the brand Cider.
If you’re curious to know more about this star’s workout routines, I’ve got you covered. Two big ways Willow works on her fitness gains is through her running and yoga routines. She recently told Vogue, “I’ve been running recently. Running has been very, very, cathartic for me. Just waking up and running every morning,” she shared.
“I used to hit the yoga every single day, but I feel like what happens with me is I need a variety of different things. Some days I run, some days I do yoga, some days I do a hike, but I feel like I can’t do the same thing—I have to switch it up. It doesn’t get redundant, and you can still have the same routine, but just switch out the actual action.”
In 2020, she showed off another super impressive pose that was inspired by @amelieyogajourney.
Of course, it’s not all about physical health. Willow makes sure to take care of her mental health, and meditation a big part of her wellness routine. She told Vogue, “I try to meditate for 10 minutes every day. Sometimes there’s the traditional sitting meditation, which, weirdly enough, I don’t do as often as I do chants, mantras, or listen to affirmations and repeat them.”
She shared one of her favorite mantras with Glamour: “Recently, my mantra has been, ‘I accept everything as it is, and I’m grateful for it.’ Repeating that over and over again; that’s been really helping me.” Go, Willow, go!

When it comes to her diet, the singer makes sure to fuel her body well. During an episode of Red Table Talk with Dr. Mark Hyman, Willow revealed that she suffers from leaky gut and has sensitivities to gluten, dairy, and eggs, per TooFab. But she emphasized the importance of getting good nutrition, regardless of her dietary restrictions. “I need my carbs, I need my vegetables, and I need my protein,” she said. “I obsess about it.”
Get those carbs, Willow!
